How to Apply for Aldi Graduate Scheme

Aldi runs candidates through five stages, and applications for the 2026/27 intake are open now. The Graduate Area Manager Programme pays a starting salary of £52,020, rising in fixed increments to £98,050 by year eight — plus a fully expensed company car from day one. You’ll need a 2:1 degree in any discipline, 96 UCAS points (63 Scottish Highers, or the equivalent from other qualifications) from your top three A-Levels or Highers, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK. The 52-week programme runs to a fixed structure rather than open-ended shadowing: weeks 3-13 are spent on the shop floor stacking shelves and learning store operations alongside your team, weeks 15-24 hand you the keys to a store once training is done, weeks 25-28 put you in sole charge of a store’s rota, ordering and team for a three-week cover, and the final stretch (weeks 39-51) mixes technical and leadership assessment with in-at-the-deep-end cover for a full Area Manager role. You get a dedicated mentor from day one throughout.
