The programme sits in Sky’s Digital Marketing and eCommerce function. Sky describes it as work at the intersection of business strategy, data analytics and technology, and says rotations may change as the business evolves. Sky also says you do not need to be a coder.
Who can apply
Sky states one essential requirement for the Digital programme: you are in the final year of an undergraduate degree, completing a postgraduate qualification, or have already graduated. The degree can be in any subject. The skills Sky lists are analytical curiosity, clear communication of data, collaboration, an insight-driven mindset and comfort with testing and optimising. Sky does not sponsor visas for this role. The Finance programme listing repeats the no-sponsorship line (Reported). For other programmes, check the individual listing: Not published on the overview page.
How to apply: three stages
Stage 1: apply online
Enter your details, degree and anything relevant such as part-time jobs, volunteering or projects. After you submit, Sky emails a link to the digital assessments, so check your junk folder. You can apply to only one programme per year.
Stage 2: two online assessments
Sky says the two assessments cover how you think, what motivates you and how you might fit the programme. You get a practice round and tips first. Sky asks candidates not to use AI while completing the assessments themselves. For general practice see our online tests guide.
Stage 3: in-person assessment centre
Final-stage candidates are invited to an in-person day with tasks on problem solving and teamwork. Sky says it will tell you when to expect a decision afterwards. The date of the 2027 assessment centre is Not published.
Adjustments and offer conditions
Tell Sky about any adjustments when you submit, and the Early Careers team will get in touch if it needs detail. Offers depend on passing a Criminal Record Check. Questions go to Sky’s early-careers team by email at [email protected].

What a Sky graduate says
“The programme has given me real responsibility early on.”
Rachel Formstone, Finance Graduate at Sky, in her Gradcracker profile. One person’s account of the Finance programme, not the Digital one.
In the same profile Rachel says Sky sponsors her CIMA qualification and gives study leave. Those details apply to the Finance route; the Digital listing names mentors and buddies, other benefits are Not published there.
Sky vs other graduate schemes
Sky is one of the few big employers recruiting in Osterley, Livingston and Leeds at once, and its programmes accept any degree subject for Digital. Compare closing dates with other open schemes in our deadlines calendar, and browse every scheme on the Graduate Scheme hub. Sky’s own early-careers page also names awards such as Times Top 100 Graduate Employer (Official, Sky’s claim).
