Lloyds Banking Group Graduate Assessment Centre 2027: Stages and How to Prepare
The Lloyds Banking Group graduate assessment centre is the last of three stages in its graduate process, after an online assessment and a Job Insight Assessment. This guide uses Lloyds’ own graduate pages for the stages, timings and rules, and marks anything it does not publish.
One honest limit up front: the Lloyds graduate pages we checked do not publish salaries, intake sizes or exact closing dates, so those are marked Not published. For the scheme overview see our Lloyds graduate scheme page.

Which process applies to you
Pick your scheme type to see its online assessment. Lloyds says the technology schemes follow a slightly different process.
Online assessment, about 60 minutes. It gives insight into the Group and how it supports customers and communities. Use a quiet space and have a pen, paper and calculator. It has closed captions on audio, question text at a minimum of 14px, keyboard navigation and zoom, and you get a feedback report within a few days.
Then: Job Insight Assessment, then an assessment centre with pre-work.
The assessment centre
Pre-work is required and Lloyds says full details are sent well in advance. On the day you are assessed through a one-to-one interview, a group exercise and individual assessments on your pre-work, and you can learn about the culture and talk with current graduates. Lloyds does not publish scoring or pass rates.
Virtual centre
You need a laptop or tablet and a good internet connection. Lloyds says it can help with laptop access within an office and with travel expenses where needed.
In-person centre
Reasonable travel expenses are covered for in-person events, according to Lloyds.
Technology schemes
The virtual assessment day adds a technical exercise to the interview, group exercise and pre-work assessments.
For how these days usually run, see our graduate assessment centre guide. Quote check: we found no named Lloyds graduate describing the assessment centre in a source we could verify, so we have not included one.
Using AI in your application
Lloyds publishes explicit guidance. It says AI can help you research the Group, structure your own examples, practise STAR-style answers and reflect on your use of AI at work. It says not to copy and paste AI-generated examples, submit answers that do not reflect your experience, use AI to answer questions in an assessment or live at interview, share confidential information with AI tools, or use voice cloning or deepfake tools. Lloyds also says it uses AI to support recruitment decisions with human oversight, and that AI does not make the decisions.

- Start the pre-work early and plan how to present it.
