P&G (Procter & Gamble) recruits UK graduates into commercial, supply chain, engineering and research roles. This guide covers the Sales graduate role, which P&G describes in its own advert, and says clearly where dates in different listings disagree.

What a P&G sales graduate does

P&G says Sales graduates manage their own multi-million-pound business from day one and are the key contact for some of the UK’s biggest retailers. The work covers building ideas, planning with analytics and shopper insights, and selling and executing them, in partnership with marketing, supply chain and finance. The advert names brands including Gillette, Pampers, Head & Shoulders and Oral-B.

Who can apply

P&G asks for undergraduates who will have completed their degree by summer 2027, with evidence of passion and achievements in academic or non-academic activities, leadership skills, strong communication and English, and a valid driver’s licence from day one. For this entry-level role you need your own continuous right to work in the UK from day one without P&G sponsorship. The advert does not state a degree classification or subject.

Application process and the Commercial Career Academy

2. Online assessments: deadline 1pm GMT, 9 November 2026. P&G encourages candidates to complete them as soon as possible because it may close early if positions fill.
3. Virtual interviews: run across October to December 2026 and are conducted by managers from the business you applied to.
4. CCA invitations: all extended by 9 December 2026.
5. Commercial Career Academy: 17 to 18 December 2026, in person. P&G describes it as the final step: you work on a real case study covering all aspects of business, give a presentation and have a final interview. P&G covers all costs of attending.

P&G graduate salary and benefits

The advert states a £45,000 annual starting salary for the Sales role, reviewed at least annually, plus an annual bonus based on business results. The advert text gives 1pm GMT on 30 October 2026, but the listing header showed “Apply by 10/11/2026”. These disagree, so open the official P&G page or the TARGETjobs advert and check whether the application still opens. If it is closed, do not wait for next year: other commercial and sales schemes are still open or opening, and our deadlines calendar shows which ones. Who this role suits

This is a Debut view, not P&G’s. The advert says there are no rotations and the role is a sales graduate role based in Weybridge, so it suits graduates who already know they want a customer-facing commercial career and are happy to be based there. If you want to try several functions in your first years, a rotational scheme may fit better. The advert also asks for a driver’s licence, your own right to work in the UK and a degree finished by summer 2027, so check those before you spend time on an application.
