- Analyzing data and preparing detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations
- Assisting in the design and analysis of foundations, retaining structures, and embankments
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
The role combines hands-on fieldwork with in-office analytical tasks, offering a well-rounded experience in the geotechnical field.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS, or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Work Experience Requirements
This is an entry-level position, so prior professional experience is not required. Internships or co-op placements in geotechnical engineering or related fields are advantageous.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline is a plus
