Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations at our warehouse distribution center, ensuring inventory management, quality control, and efficient receiving of inbound shipments. This role involves supervising a represented workforce team and rotating between 1st and 2nd shifts as per business needs.
The successful candidate will contribute to compliance with safety regulations and timely shipments while receiving robust professional development and opportunities for career growth.
Duties and Work Process
- Supervise and guide daily warehouse operations.
- Lead, train, and evaluate a unionized team.
- Foster collaboration between peers and union partners.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage inventory and quality control processes.
- Address challenges proactively and implement effective solutions.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
