We are looking for a super talented intern to join Tinder communications in the UK - whether youve recently graduated or in your gap year.

Were not after your average PR student/graduate - we want someone who GETS communications. Who has a passion for it. Who wants to learn. And who wants to kick off their career at one of the most dynamic, fast moving brands out there.

Youll need to bring your A game! Youll have a very good understanding of the UK media (you consume media like no other) and know your Tic Tok from your Insta and Snap.

Youll bring a background in public relations and communications (Corporate and Consumer, ideally). In addition, a deep understanding of the cultural nuances among youth culture - you know how Gen Z think and what will spark their attention.

Youll naturally have a passion for Tinder (i.e. your Tinder profile will be on fire and not a ghosting in sight). Youre a self-starter and rise to any challenge - where youll be happy managing several projects at once, all done with the highest of detail.

Youll be a natural storyteller and wordsmith, knowing what makes news and what doesnt.

Youll join a group of seasoned comms professionals to help create and develop the story of Tinder today - the company, product and brand.

Working directly with the director of communications for UK and Nordics youll be part of the EMEA comms team and the Global Communications team based in LA - surrounded by industry experts at the top of their game. This role requires strong cross-functional interactions with teams based across Europe and in the US.

From product launches, to partnerships and media relations - this role covers the A-Z of public relations. It needs someone with a can-do attitude and equally impressive skill set.

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • A knowledge of communications, ideally studying Public Relations or Communications
  • A knowledge of the UK media and social media landscape with a focus on Gen Z media outlets
  • A knowledge of developing narratives and a passion to create creative content and stories
  • Be familiar with, and/or enthusiastically curious about youth culture, technology, innovation and media
  • Project management skills to strategize and execute communications campaigns
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic, someone who is also outgoing and personable, with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and use initiative
  • A positive can-do attitude about collaborating with different internal stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Word & Excel

Youll have a Tinder account and be more than familiar with how the app works as well as other dating apps.

In this role you will:

  • Be the voice of our audience
  • Work with the Tinder Communications team and agency partners in UK with planning, execution and analysis of campaigns
  • Bring your own ideas to the table and bring them to life
  • Research and monitor trends within dating, app marketing and Gen Z culture and how this could enhance our communication strategy
  • Work on a personal project throughout the year, and present your unique ideas and perspective on Tinder to senior leadership
  • General admin work supporting UK

As part of our team, youll enjoy:

  • The hustle of a startup with the impact of a global business
  • Working with an extraordinary team of smart, creative, fun and highly motivated people
  • Virtual yoga and fitness classes, and many other fun activities

This position is based in our London office and requires the right to work in the UK. Please note that due to health and safety measures, this placement may start remotely.
