+ As the Sales and Marketing Intern, your key mission is to support both the Sales team and the Marketing team to grow and develop Acqua Di Parma in the UK market.

+ As part of the sales team you will support them in achieving their sales targets and ambitions to drive the UK business forward

+ As part of the marketing team you will support in developing consumer centric activation plans for the launch of our new products and communication

+ You will thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment and enjoy interacting with many different departments in the company, giving you a great understanding of how the UK subsidiary works

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing and Consumer Engagement

+ Support marketing manager in PR and media related activities (influencer activations, PR events, media asset delivery)

+ Support trade marketing manager in the implementation of trade plans for major retailers, in particular pop-up sites and customer events in store or online (gifting, set-up of the room/space, catering)

+ Manage administrative tasks for marketing team such as couriers and development of local marketing tools (brochures, invites)

Reporting and Analysis

+ Provide Retail and Wholesale analysis to support both the key accounts team and the marketing team

+ Analyse new launches performance by tracking sell-in vs allocation and building launch trackers to monitor retail sales

+ Competitor pricing analysis

+ Ad hoc reporting as needed

Stock and Wholesale Support

+ Support in general commercial admin, such as new line forms, price queries, discontinuations and order validation

+ Use weekly sales by sku reports to support on stock and cover management for key retailers

+ Internal stock management such as loans and gifting for marketing and PR purposes

Meetings and Training Sessions

+ Schedule and organise team conferences and training sessions

+ Set-up external meetings such as strategy meetings with retailers (catering, decoration, gifting)

+ Support in building retailer and training presentations

Projects

+ Ad hoc projects such as event organisation and retail activation projects

General administration

+ PO and Budget management for both sales and marketing departments

Key Competencies/Technical Skills

+ Passionate about the beauty/luxury sector with an interest to develop your understanding of all the moving parts of a growing business

+ Able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks and projects

+ Able to work independently but also within a busy and dynamic team

+ Naturally proactive and able to use initiative to get things done

+ Strong analytical mindset, able to work with large volumes of data

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SAP etc.

Profile

+ Positive energy, with a Can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment

+ Graduate or business/finance/marketing student on a placement

+ Fluent in English

+ Previous internship/work experience preferred
