Reporting to the General Manager, the apprentice day to day duties will include:

Perform general maintenance duties which include paintingand decorating, Basic plumbing tasks, Brick repairs, building repairs and general housekeeping

Safe erecting and dismantling of centre equipment in accordance with safe methods of work and in full compliance with the Clubs health and safety policies and working practices

Ensure whilst on shift that all buildings, fixtures, fittings and equipment remains fit for purpose, safe and do not inconvenience or detract from the customer experience

Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the effective management and operation of the buildings, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings in particular ensuring that repairs, damages or failures are quickly made safe, properly reported and satisfactorily rectified

Maintain an excellent standard of member care and manage customer enquiries and complaints in a professional, courteous and timely manner

Ensure that the Centre and grounds are free from litter, spillages and other hazards and carry out routine maintenance and cleaning tasks as required whilst on shift

Familiarise yourself with the health and safety policy and safe working practices of the Club and be committed to ensuring that safe a safe working environment is maintained at all times and accidents and incidents are properly completed

Provide a positive, committed and dynamic approach in all aspects of the post holders duties and responsibilities

Minimum of 4 GCSE or equivalent A-E grades including English and Maths
