  • To work closely with the Integrated Programme Manager and act as a designated information coordinator within the business
  • To represent the Integrated Programme Manager at meetings, where required
  • To assist in the maintenance of the integrated works programme including learning to understand coding functionality
  • To assess the impact of change and publicise changes to all interested parties via the internal systems as required
  • Support the PMO in all aspects of communications including programming, planning and change management in the delivery of the Capital Works Programme
  • To liaise with Project Managers, IPM and JV Communications Team daily to ensure that programme information is up to date and change is captured
  • Assisting in the planning of works by supporting and enhancing the Schemes Project Portal (SPP)
  • Work Closely with the Project Managers in the checking and monitoring of both planned works and works in progress to identify any additional communications requirements ensuring program updates are captured
  • Work with the Communications Manager providing programme updates and receiving feedback on the delivery of communications
  • Work with the Integrated Program Manager (IPM) through understanding the Annual Service Plan (ASP) and delivery requirements, monitoring program, and assisting with change management
  • Liaising with the Contact Centre Manager & Staff providing updates where necessary
  • Monitor and capture contract updates through Cemar
  • Provide reports and programs where required
  • Assist in managing SPIs
  • Assist SPMs in any other PMO administrative duties as may be directed

  • A recognised qualification in Level 3 Business Administration (12 months duration)
  • Monthly workshops with other apprentices working towards your qualification
  • Attendance on apprentice development programme
  • On-going support and reviews on your progress
  • 6 monthly pay increases based on performance and attendance
  • Options to attend career and personal development events
  • Training in line with your qualification
  • The opportunity to progress onto a further apprenticeship
  • On completing your apprenticeship, you may have the option to progress onto a further qualification either level 4, 5 or 6
  • The skills you develop during your apprenticeship are highly transferrable and could aid you moving into roles in senior administration, PA, office management, contract administration or roles within leadership

Experience

  • Clearly demonstrable experience working in the planned works environment
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office

Understandably given the nature of our business, everyone who is employed at Costain must undergo thorough referencing checks. We will need different information depending on the job we have offered you. For all roles, well carry out a criminal record check and well ask to see evidence that you have the legal right to work in the UK.
