This fabulous company are offering a level 3 production Engineering apprenticeship.

As part of your training programme you will take part in on the job training in all areas of MT, with a focus in Production, Industrial Systems and Field Service.

Working alongside the production engineer(s) assemble mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with customer requirements in a timely and safe manner. Ensuring that all associated documentation is assembled & completed in accordance with the ISO9001 and agreed Customer Processes.

To help with and perform an initial quality inspection on all custom fabrications upon delivery to Mettler Toledo, with a further quality inspection once assembly work has been completed prior to shipping to the customer.

Alongside the production engineer(s) test, calibrate & verify equipment as required in order to comply with Mettler Toledos quality and performance standards.

You will be further responsible for:

  • On-Time Delivery Reporting
  • Customer Feedback / Complaints / 8Ds
  • SHEQ Non-Conformances
  • Feedback from Systems Manager & IND Mechanical Design Team
  • Incoming & Outgoing Quality Inspection sheets for ALL mechanical Systems Jobs
  • Calibration, Verification & Basic Test Report Certificates as specified by Sales Orders
