Build ad hoc on desk tools for analysis and idea generation

Support the marketing effort by preparing client pitches and analysis

Work closely with Sales & Trading to price bespoke derivate transactions for a wide range of clients

Assist in producing documentation for structured transactions

Develop new solutions and products matching client needs and constraints

Strong mathematical, analytical & quantitative skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or finance

Strong academic record

Strong programming skills (especially Python)

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/VBA)

Interest in the financial industry and familiarity with financial products

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and diligently

Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Motivation and initiative

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for interacting with other BNP departments

Proven analytical and problem solving skills
