What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The qualification you would gain is the Level 2 Site Carpentry (Standard) where we will be looking to partner with Multi Trade Training to provide the training.

For those already completed a Level 2, there is a Level 3 option.

This training will mainly be through remote learning with a paid study time as needed up to 7 hours/1 day per week. You are expected to travel when necessary though most assessments will be done on site. You will be responsible to managing/arranging with your line manager.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On completion of this apprenticeship you can progress into the Level 3 Advanced qualification or work as a qualified Trainee Site Carpentry apprentice where, with more experience, you can look to progress into a senior carpentry position, site/contracts/project management, self employment or interior systems business owner.

You will be eligible for the Skilled Worker (Blue) CSCS Card after the level 2 qualification.

We are looking for Hillingdon borough residents who are interested in completing a Level 2 Site Carpentry apprenticeship. The successful candidate will spend 24 months working as a Carpentry Apprentice as part of the CITB Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Employed by Evolve Apprentices while earning a wage, and gaining experience and qualification.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training thats part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Monday-Friday, weekends may be an option. Minimum of 35 hours per week but potential for more. Approx. 8am-4pm but hours will be confirmed by contractor after successfully passing the Stage 1 & 2 Interview.
