With innovation and collaboration at the heart of everything we do, the Everyday Mobile team is responsible for building PayPal’s business in new mobile verticals including food service, transit, fuel & convenience and telco’s. The Everyday Mobile team is a customer-led, segment focused team that enables a full segment ownership including new business development, partnership management and ongoing retain and growth development the merchant portfolio.


Job Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management

  • Manage a portfolio of merchants for purposes of tracking and monitoring performance
  • Identify trends, opportunities and risks within the portfolio, propose key initiatives based on insights, leveraging cross functional teams to support and drive growth initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Work with the growth team to, identify top targets within these portfolios for growth / focus to more actively and directly supporting engagement and growth
  • Where relevant support the growth team in external client meetings with merchants

Sales and Business Development

  • Support all Sales and Business Development activities including sales lifecycle management, using Salesforce to effectively manage the sales funnel, merchant proposition development for example sales presentation and demonstrations
  • Where relevant support the Sales team in external client meetings with merchants and partners
  • Identify market opportunities by driving insights from internal and external data sources, working in conjunction with insights and commercial strategy teams

  • You are a team player, interested in supporting and delivering against personal but also team, extended team and business goals.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to create, maintain and review sales reports, forecasts and pipeline management
  • You have an ability to think strategically. You use data and commercial awareness to determine trends and insights, and build programs to maximise opportunities from these insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and project management skills with the ability to engage and influence multiple internal stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Legal and Operations
  • Ability to work well and independently in a structured yet flexible and adaptable way and in a fast-paced team environment, with a good attention to detail
  • Able to balance competing priorities and build consensus to do the best thing for our business and our customers
  • Capable of managing multiple complex relationships in an emerging segment ecosystem
  • Must be comfortable with uncertainty, with an ability to drive clarity both externally and internally, with an ability to think on your feet and be able to seek solutions to problems

To be considered you must:

  • Have a degree in a business / commercial related subject with expected grade at least a 2:1
  • Be available for a 12 months internship starting June – July 2020
