As a Social Media/Marketing & Graphic Design Intern, you will work directly with the Head Office team to assist in the development of a marketing strategy for Club Excel across various platforms. This role requires knowledge of campaigning across various social platforms as well as experience with graphic design. You should be a creative and social person with a desire to work as part of a fun and exciting team to expand the company engagement on social media and help design brochures, flyers, policies, forms and website content. You will also assist with administrative and bookings duties or assist on site at one of our holiday camps during the school holidays, all while having the opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience and receive training.

Main Duties

To assist in growing Club Excels brand across various platforms and increase engagement.

Assist in executing a social media and marketing plan for website, media and publications

Monitor and track results and analyse social and digital activity from competitors.

Assist with administrative duties and booking queries where needed.

Create engaging content across all social media platforms.

Create blog posts and track user engagement.

Network with influencers and create lasting partnerships.

Assist in the planning and set targets for social media marketing strategy.

Develop partnerships with local bloggers, writers and PR professionals.

Edit video content for various platforms.

Create, edit and produce brochures, forms, website design options and social media content

Qualifications/Experience - Ideally you will have:

Degree in or studying toward a degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or similar field.

WORKING HOURS

Working pattern to be agreed based on participants availability

HOURLY RATE

NMW/NLW depending on age

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT

The following program will be in place for each role to allow this person to gain valuable skills and experience.

For both roles there will be a 6 and 12-week review to discuss the following:

Attendance

Timekeeping

Work Performance

Progress on Objectives

Feedback on Training Courses

For both roles there will be a 1:1 meeting every 4 weeks to review:

What has and has not gone well

How they feel in their role

Feedback

For both roles, they will be expected to attend and take an active role in Weekly Operations Meetings to:

Set agenda for the week

Prioritise tasks

Progress on existing tasks

Operations/Logistics Assistant Training:

Sports Coaching OR Childcare Course between 1-10 days based on candidates interest and course level

Manual Handling Training

Safer Recruitment Course

Recruitment and selection training

Paediatric First Aid Course

Fire, Health and Safety Course

Operations/Logistics Assistant Skills:

Confidence

Public Speaking

Teamwork

Meeting Deadlines

Time Keeping

Experience:

On the job training leading to them coaching their own activity session while being monitored.

Understanding of operations and logistics of a holiday camp/childcare provider.

Planning and preparing materials for our programs.

Recruitment of staff and staffing logistics.

Equipment/supply logistics and organisation

CV writing and Cover Letter training

CV writing and Cover Letter support

SWOT analysis

Interview techniques and practical interview lessons

Club Excel will also write a letter of recommendation of each role to assist them in securing employment following their placement with our organisation.
