As a Junior Applied Management Science Researcher, you will be part of a team with full responsibilities for dedicated tasks from day one. The Junior Applied Management Science Researcher reports to the Head of R&D, and has primary responsibility for carrying out research work in strategic management.
Responsibilities
- Curating existing academic knowledge and research in strategic management into media contents for training and coaching purposes
- Converting fundamental Management Theories into concrete and valuable input-output models
- Assisting in the production of high-quality research reports and/or publications
- Taking full ownership of conceptualising and designing early solution prototypes (Minimum Viable Products), with the help of a variety of different tools (e.g. Excel VBA)
- Preparing and leading interviews and tests with users of our technology solutions and prototypes
- Excellent academic achievements from a leading university or business school, with a Master's degree in Business, Management or Engineering
- Challenging internships or initial professional experience or previous full-time experience in a research role
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills including the ability to orchestrate complex projects from beginning to end
- Ability to conduct literature review from top tier international academic journals
- Familiarity with dominant theoretical frameworks used in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Exceptional design intuition, with strong presentation and design skills (e.g., create smart and functional wireframes, and screen flows using design toolkits)
- Basic skills of game design
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and VBA
- Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with people at all levels within an organisation
- Demonstrable ability to perform in a high-pressure situation
- Fluent in English (Italian is a plus)
- Knowledge of advanced statistical tools, such as R, SPSS and/or Python is a plus
