  • To provide administrative and office support for the Corporate Communications team
  • To provide print management support including collating, binding and mounting of print jobs
  • To lead on the graphic design of documents and materials and ensure all are visually engaging and consistent with brand guidelines

Training will be provided to enable the employee to work towards the following:

  • To provide a design, production and print service in a variety of different electronic and printed formats. Encompassing the full project lifecycle from conception, through presentation of design ideas, to project delivery
  • To liaise with and commission external suppliers (e.g. print, photography) where appropriate, making sure competitive quotations are provided and invoices are checked so that value-for-money can be achieved
  • To liaise with external suppliers, providers and media agencies on behalf of colleagues and the organisation to ensure a smooth, timely, cost-effective and appropriate delivery of services and products
  • To promote, advise and manage the implementation of the NFRS corporate brand, advising and support colleagues to ensure the brand is used accurately, appropriately and consistently
  • To advise, monitor and approve the use of the NFRS corporate brand within publications and documents for external organisations and/or partner agencies
  • To ensure that accessibility issues in relation to electronic and printed media are considered and implemented where necessary
  • To undertake any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the responsibilities and grade of the post

Full Junior Content Producer level 3 apprenticeship including functional skills in maths and English if required.

You will be assigned to an assessor who will visit you in the workplace on a regular basis to work with you on the development of knowledge, skills and behaviours within your role.

This learning programme also requires day release attendance at Derby Road, Mansfield. During these sessions on a weekly basis, you will follow a structured learning plan.

After a pre-determined period of learning, you and your employer will agree with your training provider that you have completed all required learning and are ready to enter Gateway.

Gateway is the period of your apprenticeship where you prepare for and await your End Point Assessment which is completed by an external organisation. It is your End Point Agreement that determines your final apprenticeship grade.
