The main duties of the role will be to undertake demonstrations in the taught Psychology & Education Masters quantitative data analysis (QnDA) lectures, assist with updating online materials, support the teaching of the British Psychological Society (BPS) element of the Psychology & Education Masters route and run the BPS-QnDA practice sessions. The roleholder will hold regular drop-in sessions and coordinate the existing student-led Quantitative Methods group that meets weekly in the Education Faculty, spanning Masters and Doctoral students.

Candidates will hold a Masters in Psychology or related area and will have substantial experience running statistical analyses for psychological research, as well as excellent skills in statistics and quantitative data analysis. An awareness and knowledge of current debates and issues in statistical methods in psychology are also required, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience of using JSAP and R (statistical software) would be advantageous.
