Graduate Production Systems Co-ordinator

The Production Systems Co-ordinator is a brand new role and has been created to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of planning activities.
You will be required to interrogate data systems and be the conduit for information flow between shop floor activities and the planning process.
You will need to be familiar with the concept and utilisation of ERP systems.
The Production Systems Co-ordinator will be responsible for:
* Interrogate and analyse systems data to enhance the planning effectiveness
* Proactively seek to manage the scheduling by liaising with feeder departments and understanding future demand, analysing capacity restraints and level scheduling
* Sensitivity analysis to give options to Operations Management for changes to the Plan
* Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
* Prepares production and management reports
* Ensuring Works Orders are aligned to meet Sales Orders and Child Parts are scheduled according to the demand
* Assist with the preparation of the sales forecasts and detailed reporting to support the planning function
* Report any deviations from plan and determine a corrective action
* Report on schedule adherence, performance, and forecasts
The Production Systems Co-ordinator will have experience in:
* Computer Systems and MS Office suite “super user” ability
* Understand engineering production and process flow
* Database Interrogation essential with Crystal Report writing, an advantage
* Ability to handle and drive change
* Experience of MRP/ERP implementation and development, an advantage
* Knowledge or ideally have a proven track record of planning and process flow controlling experience in an engineering production environment
* Working knowledge of Javelin, would be an advantage
* Knowledge of Capacity planning
This role will suit an Engineering graduate who would enjoy planning, scheduling and chasing progress on the production and planning of ordered parts. This role will involve learning their digital systems and becoming a Super-User to teach others.
The ideal candidate will be:
* Logical, analytical, organised, detail oriented and orderly
* Results driven
* Good team player
* Know when to escalate problems
* Can use own initiative and work unsupervised
