Our clients are a wholly privately owned Building Services Design and Management company delivering quality, compliant, cost effective environmentally considerate and energy efficient designs for the Mechanical, Electrical and Personnel Transportation installations. The company was established in 1993; currently operating from a single office location based in Solihuill in the West Midlands, but offering services across the British Isles. The company project compliment has seen the practice working on prestigious schemes across the UK. Since its formation, our clients has steadily grown into a team of 24 experienced personnel comprising of four directors, associates, senior and intermediate engineers, CAD draughtsmen and office administrators. Engineer to strengthen their team. What they are looking for: * Around 2 years experience working in the Building Services arena * A relevant degree qualification and working towards chartership * An understanding of software packages such as AutoCAD, Relux, Amtech and ideally Revit * The desire to be the best at what you do while representing your employer * Sociable, outgoing and professional manner * Versatile individual with the ability takes on more responsibility and desire to work independently * Able to lead small teams and work on a variety of projects in a range of sectors. The role: * Undertake a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services * Design and specify Electrical building systems, equipment, facilities, components and products * Develop Electrical engineering concepts and solutions. * Report and review Electrical engineering options and makes final proposal * Attend project design team meetings *

Obtain from client and provide a clear and accurate brief * Confirm design briefings and partake in meetings with engineers to discuss/review project technical requirements and deliverables. * Provide expert technical advice and problem resolution to the design office * Provide technical audit of deliverables. * Present design proposals/solutions to client and design team. * Prepare specifications and co-ordinate with all other documentation. * Use computer assisted project software for both project related calculations and pro * Ensure document control methods are being adhered to and quality control standards are being achieved. * Contribute to development of quality and technical standards within the office
