This is a very flexible role embracing hybrid working of two days in the Coventry office and three days working from home.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working; so whether youve never worked in this industry before, or had years of experience with one our competitors, youre just as likely to be a great fit! A great Finance Assistant will be a great communicator (in person, on the face and through email), have a keen eye for detail to spot any discrepancies and have the ability to work well both independently and within our team

However there are some skills and experience we require from you:

  • Educated to GCSE level, ideally holding a ATT qualification (but this is not essential)
  • Ability to work alone as well as within the team
  • Ability to manage workloads to effectively hit monthly targets
  • Some knowledge or experience of bank reconciliations

Additional Requirements

Our Finance Assistant is key in ensuring the smooth running of our branches in terms of reconciling and managing cash, cheques, BACS, credit cards etc. Each day you will be

  • Dealing with any queries from the branches or bank
  • Looking at all money coming in against what has been recorded
  • Following up with any discrepancies
  • Adhoc pieces of work such an inputting different payments
