Rocksteady is a fast growing, dynamic business focused on meeting challenging financial goals of a AAA game studio. The Financial Apprentice is part of the Production Finance team, which is responsible for production accounting, procurement oversight/support and support for the budgeting and forecasting processes.

What part will you play:

  • Support the finance team with various financial data reconciliations
  • Assist the finance team in Profit & Loss review and corrections
  • Assist the finance team with the Cash flow forecast
  • Assist in creating and maintaining our vendor accounts
  • Completion of various ad hoc filing (legacy filing, arranging for professional document shredding or DIY for low confidentiality paperwork, scanning of documents etc.)
  • Liaising with external companies and internal teams via email and over the phone
  • Act as a point of contact for the legal team
  • Completing various forms and other ad hoc requests for the team

What do we require from you:

  • Educated to A level or equivalent standard with 5 GCSEs grade A-C / 9-4 (including English & Maths)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, including being advanced in Excel and comfortable using Outlook.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Able to multi-task, work under tight time constraints and meet deadlines.

Please note: our apprenticeship opportunities are designed to be an alternative to university, therefore we will not consider graduates for these roles.
