Working as a Digital Account Coordinator you will develop the skills so you have the following accountabilities Client accountability * Develop a broad awareness of the client business, their customers and their competitors. * Gather any relevant information about the client to keep the account team up to date and be proactive in identifying newsworthy issues and competitor activity which may affect a clients business * In conjunction with the line manager, to attend client meetings as required. * To interpret client requirements from a brief and assist in the preparation of a written creative brief. * Assist in building a strong relationship by confidently and competently interfacing with clients over the telephone and by e-mail. * Preparation of contact reports and relevant documentations following any client meetings. * Liaise with clients other marketing partners (e.g. media, print, PR) and business partners, ensuring an effective service is provided to both these

partners and the client in turn. * Ensure all supporting documentation is delivered to required standards (contact reports, WIP, schedules, etc). * To communicate any issues or opportunities to the line manager. Agency Accountability * Manage digital requirements from clients including website changes and amendments, social media posts, campaigns and digital advertising * Liaise with the creative studio and the development team on trafficking jobs and client amends. * Ensure work from the creative studio is checked prior to sending to client (proof read) and any development work is fully tested. * Stay informed of developments within the industry, technologies and departments * To gain an understanding of digital marketing principles, and different digital marketing formats * To have an appreciation of the creative and design process, user experience and how it works and what is good (effective) and bad (ineffective) communication Financial accountability *

Preparation of relevant and timely cost estimates and invoices for clients, * To help manage project budgets and retainers * To have an awareness of team/agency profitability and ways to be cost effective * Keeps track of activities within individual jobs in order to identify potential delays/overspend

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, and able to communicate with colleagues and at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and handle large volumes of work
  • An interest in digital marketing
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, Wordpress and any other digital platforms
  • Knowledge and understanding of Google adwords, Analytics and other Google tools is an advantage

Personal qualities

  • Needs to be able to demonstrate intelligence and initiative, drive and commitment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired qualifications

  • 8 GCSEs or equivalent
  • 3 A levels or equivalent
  • Other digital qualification will be considered

Future prospects

This apprenticeship is a full time role and will be an integral part of the Creode client services team. For the right candidate, this is an exciting introduction to agency life that can act as a stepping stone to developing a career in a digital agency or digital client side role. On completion of the apprenticeship successful candidates can look forward to working as an Account Executive.

Things to consider

The agency operates a hybrid office/ home working model, and the role along with the rest of the client services team will be expected to work in the office a minimum of 3 days a week

Digital Marketer Level 3

We will support and coach the apprentice through the apprenticeship Standard. We will carry out both curriculum and pastoral care. We will carry out the skills development workshop days off site. We will oversee the teaching and learning around the knowledge, behaviours and skills elements of the standard. We will manage the apprentices OneFile account ensuring targets, milestones and deadlines are achieved. Apprentices without Level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. Other off the job training will be monitored through the one file, Practical training, shadowing, mentoring, industry visits. Learning support and time spent writing assessments/assignments will also be coached and monitored.
