This role is within a team supporting provision of payroll services to the film and tv industry. Not only will this role provide full learning of customer service and administration support (external and in-house), it involves collaborative working with the in-house payroll and customer service team.

  • Co-ordinate collection of new starter information for on-boarding of cast & crew
  • Ensure newly on-boarded payees are provided with company welcome information & documentation, covering the companys policies, processes and also their employment rights
  • Ensure full and accurate records are kept of all contractor/crew account activities completed
  • Ensure full and accurate record keeping over all activities completed, including clear notes of action taken on payee and/or client accounts, controls over invoices & payment exceptions
  • Manage inbound service requests and enquiries within the agreed call and email service levels
  • Administer registration / on-boarding of Payees in accordance with HMRC requirements
  • Data input & timesheet entry and validation
  • Producing payroll submission templates for production clients
  • Payroll & Client deposit management and reconciliation controls
  • Validation (controls) payment of PAYE taxes for client and company

Training to be provided

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

Our Account Manager, industry-trained assessor and Learning Advocate support apprentices to deliver our high-quality training programmes.

This apprenticeship is being developed with a view to being able to develop into

Production / Production Payroll administration support, Production Payroll - these roles could be in-house or on-set of TV & Film production But can also form a basis for specialising in payroll or Customer Services/Administration roles.
