During your apprenticeship you will begin to understand more about this vital work as you learn about high quality business support to the team and are able to develop within the role.

The role will involve a variety of duties and responsibilities, and every day will be different.

You will need to be a team player, reliable, adaptable, conscientious, and able to work to deadlines. Strong interpersonal and good communication skills are essential along with a commitment to ongoing self-development and training.

This is a trainee advanced level apprecticiship role designed ideally for an individual who already has some very basic administration or customer service skills within a working environment. On completion of the fixed term contract, the successful applicant may be offered the opportunity to apply for the role permanently.

The Council is tackling under-representation of young people in our workforce under Section 159 of the Equality Act 2010. Individuals aged between 16 and 24 years old are encouraged to apply.

Adjustments to the minimum English and/or maths requirements will be considered by the provider where an apprentice has either an existing or previously issued Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan, a Statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a Learning Difficulty Assessment (LDA).

This Apprenticeship is an entry level position in the Supported Transport Team where you will learn how to undertake a wide range of business support activities which ensure our services are delivered to a high quality.
