About The Team:

The Tanzu Field Sales & Marketing team are excited to welcome a new intern into their growing team. Tanzu is a product of VMware's continued innovation and is a pioneering technology. The team are introducing new technology to their clients and the industry as a whole and embarking on this journey with their clients. You will be working in a truly collaborative team where everyone shares information, ideas and challenges. It is a great opportunity if you are looking to gain hands on sales and commercial experience and are naturally curious about how technology impacts business.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Qualifying marketing leads
  • ​Research potential leads to contact
  • Representing our company to potential clients
  • Collaborating across team and functions
  • Solution selling and assessing client goals
  • Proactively contacting potential clients through various touchpoints: calls, emails and marketing
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns
  • Identifying and discovering client needs and challenges
  • Reporting results weekly to the Business Development Manager
  • Developing positive relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners both internally and externally

 

Required Skills:

  • Currently working towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree (Graduating from 2022)
  • Motivated to work in a sales environment with an interest to pursue a commercial role
  • Desire to interact directly with clients and prospects
  • Fluent in English. Additional European Language is highly desirable
  • Available for full time year placement starting July 2021
