The main purpose of the roll will include the following but are not limited to:

  • Assist the current admin team to keep client records updated
  • Register clients with HMRC and apply for the relevant authorisations
  • Answering telephones and directing clients to the correct team member
  • First point of contact for visitors who need to be greeted and made welcome, making tea coffee etc.
  • Ensuring the meeting room is in good order after client appointments
  • Assisting the accounts department with accounts preparation which will normally include analysis of client records
  • Ensuring that all relevant accounting records are included when clients drop them into the office

The role will require a person who after training will be able to work using their own initiative.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Communication skills both written and verbal

  • Basic IT skills and able to work on Microsoft word, excel and outlook

Desired qualifications

Candidates should have 5 good GCSEs including English and maths at grades 4/C or above.

We are looking for a long term team member who can grow with the company.

The successful candidate will be trained in a wide variety of skills including dealing with HMRC , face to face contact with clients and accounts preparation.
