  • Updating and inputting beneficiary information into the programme Customer Relationship Management System
  • Reviewing data that is already existing on the CRM system and ensuring it is categorised correctly
  • Assisting with the updating and managing of the BEST Growth Hub website
  • Triaging initial enquiries that come in to the Growth hub. This could be by phone, email, web contact forms
  • Supporting the marketing of the Growth Hub through social media posts and adverts
  • Liaising with local authorities and other business support partners to obtain updates on their offer
  • Assisting in the reporting of key achievements of the Growth Hub to local, regional and national partners
  • Tracking referrals that are made by the BEST Growth Hub team to include liaising with businesses who have received support
  • Monitoring and tracking programme spend and beneficiary outputs
  • Liaising with funders to meet programme reporting requirements
  • To support the team with a range of business engagement activities including events and one to one visits to local SMEs

The role will require day to day liaison with a range of local, regional and national partners from Government, industry and the third sector. The post holder will be required to develop and maintain these relationships, responding appropriately to requests for information and/or action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support on the compilation and filing of project beneficiary information for programme audit purposes
  • To liaise with programme funders regarding all aspects of the programme reporting and collection of evidence
  • To be responsible for the updating of the programme Customer Relationship Management System
  • To be support the updating and maintenance of the BEST Growth Hub website
  • To promote the BEST Growth Hub via social media and ad hoc methods including events and newsletters as directed by the communications Co-ordinator
  • To support the collection of information for programme evaluation purposes
  • To support the team in collecting information on the outcome of the support received by an end beneficiary
  • To support the team to complete and submit all programme monitoring claims
  • To support the Growth Hub Manager in processing programme finances, for example; raising purchase orders, processing invoices etc.
  • To support the team with a range of business engagements activities including contributing to events and one to one meetings with businesses

  • To assist with achieving departmental, service and organisational aims and objectives and undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the post
  • To promote the principles of equality and diversity and ensure that these are upheld across the service area
  • To fully comply with the Health and Safety at Work legislation and the Council's Health and Safety Policy
