The business admin apprenticeship role covers attending to all that is required to move freight, exports or imports by road, air and sea worldwide. KH Networks also cover the UK roads with our own vehicles, our next day pallet delivery and collection service.

Duties Include -

  • Booking courier shipments worldwide
  • Arranging customs requirements for Import and Exports to and from Europe
  • Entering all of the data into our computer system
  • Taking bookings from clients
  • Creating job files
  • Invoicing
  • Leasing with customers and suppliers

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Must be IT literate
  • Must be confident with Microsoft Office Package programmes
  • Motivated
  • Willingness to learn and have a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and have an interest in business administration and want an apprenticeship

Personal qualities

  • Good timekeeping
  • Experience within administration is essential for this role

Desired qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have GCSEs, or equivalent, grade C/4 or above in maths, English and ICT
  • Please note that level 2 adult literacy and level 2 adult numeracy will not be accepted. This is due to the apprenticeship awarding bodys requirements
