A Warehouse / Stock Control Apprentice required for a Nilco Ltd, in Chigwell. The candidate will work in our business and complete a Warehouse Operative Level 2 qualification. We are looking for someone who wants to develop in all areas of the business.

After full training given your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients)
  • Help to prepare customer orders
  • Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
  • Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Keep the Warehouse/Stock tidy and orgnised, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders to support the branch team, as and when required
  • Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
  • Some heavy lifting will be involved with loading and unloading the vans

Desired qualifications

  • A*-C or 9-4 grades needed in maths/English

Future prospects

  • Excellent opportunity for the right person upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship

Things to consider

  • Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training thats part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week)
  • The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage guide is updated every April (ANMW): https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates
