Job Title: Apprentice Installation Electrician/Maintenance Electrician Location: CAN Chesterfield/Sites throughout the UK 1. Job Summary To work as part of the solar and micro renewables Installation team under the day-to-day supervision of the technical manager and lead electrical engineer. 2. Scope of Role Assist with the installation and connection of roof and ground mounted solar PV systems, battery storage and electric vehicle chargers. This will include working at height. Installation of AC and DC circuits in a variety of cable containment methods. Installation of switching gear, circuit protection and earthing systems. Inspection, testing and commissioning of AC and DC systems. 3. Qualifications and Experience This is a trainee/apprenticeship role. Candidate to be working towards completing an NVQ in Electrical Installation/Maintenance Electrician. Registered with JIB ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) as an Electrical Trainee. Must have an aptitude towards manual work /

working outdoors and working at height. 4. Duties and Key Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day installation of PV solar systems, battery storage and electric vehicle chargers. Attend local college on a weekly basis Flexibility will be required in the type of duties you perform. Maintain high standards of discipline and general tidiness, including compliance with general and specific site rules. Ensure that works are undertaken in a safe, cost effective manner and in full compliance with CANs procedures.
