  • To support the On-boarding of new starters and updating the relevant information system of the progress of each person on a daily basis
  • To support contact with pending starters throughout the on boarding process for the Group and report any people who are not responding
  • To provide administrative support for any paperwork relating to new starter ready for Induction
  • To assist with the accurate entry and monitoring of personnel information
  • To arrange interviews and prepare packs for the panel as required
  • To take part and assist in interviews as required
  • To effectively process all necessary pre-employment checks in a timely manner
  • To prepare personnel files for new starters
  • To support the refresh job adverts weekly on the company website, Indeed, Linked in and Facebook and support the creation of the weekly Jobs Bulletin
  • Support contact with new starters after 4 weeks as a courtesy call, record feedback to enhance management information and recruitment reports
  • To provide assistance on producing management information for the Service as required
  • Respond to visitors, telephone calls and messages ensuring that they are dealt with efficiently
  • Provide support and assistance in facilitating events as and when required
  • To provide occasional reception cover as and when agreed
  • To represent the function professionally and positively
  • To communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and stakeholder and maintain positive working relationships
  • Responsible for own personal learning and development/CPD in line with service policies and procedures
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive workforce which is free from any discriminatory practice
  • Work within designated compliance and quality assurance frameworks as required by the service (CQC, CSE, IiP etc)
  • Represent the service in a professional and confidential manner building positive relationships with external stakeholders
  • Adhere with section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions
  • Any other duties appropriate to this post, as necessary or as requested

The company may wish to interview applicants before the closing date, resulting in the vacancy being filled before the given date.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training thats part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
