On the programme

Youll learn all the fundamentals of Field Delivery. How to build, test and integrate end-to-end customer solutions to support customer order delivery. Not to mention how to build, test and maintain Vodafones core and mobile radio access networks, working with both our people and external partners. In short, youll work with - and learn from - a wide variety of talented people.The role will also get involved in repair activity, which involves troubleshooting and replacing equipment at customer premises, within the core network and our mobile Radio Access network.

Youll need to be the kind of person whos always motivated. Someone who loves fixing anything and everything. Communication skills and effective Time Management are a must. So is the ability to get on with people from all walks of life. Therell be tight deadlines sometimes, so flexibility and focus are key. Most important of all therell be lots of time on the road and working at heights, so youll need to be comfortable with all that.

What youll need

  • To be 18 years or over as of 1st Sept 2020
  • A full clean driving license
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths and English at GCSE or A Level, or an equivalent level qualification such as a Level 2 apprenticeship, by Sept 2020
  • To be eligible to work in the UK and not be in full-time education
  • To have lived in the UK and/or EU for 3 years or more
  • To NOT have a qualification already at degree level or higher in the same subject
  • To NOT already have studied a similar level apprenticeship

You must also demonstrate the ability and aptitude to climb and work safely at heights by passing a climbing assessment.. This role also requires someone who has a flexible attitude to working hours, as the Field Delivery team needs to provide Field resources 24/7, 365 days a year. As such there may be a requirement to work on shift or standby rotas.

You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
