  • Location Glasgow City Centre
  • Starting Salary of 18,525 per annum
  • Contracts are for 37.5 hours per week - across Monday to Sunday 7am - 10pm

As an Apprentice Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting SSC with analysis and reporting by building dashboards, presentations and detailed reports
  • Supporting the delivery of service levels, and productivity targets
  • Assignment of tasks to the operations by optimising the usage of workforce planning
  • Managing the development of contact centre standards (Average Handle Time, NPT, Shrinkage, Attrition) for Customer Experience planning, ensuring that all changes successfully inter-operate with existing operational processes

We are passionate about delivering a high level of customer and stakeholder support and building and maintaining solid long-term relationships, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are just as important to being an analyst.

What will I learn?

As well as taking on a full-time role, you will be expected to work towards a SCQF Level 8 Diploma in Data Analytics. The Modern Apprenticeship programme consists of work-based learning and technical training in the following area:

  • Business Intelligence
  • Data Warehouse
  • ETL (Extract, Transform and Load)
  • Data Analysis
  • Data Modelling
  • Data Mining
  • Database Management

You'll have a head start in this vacancy if you've completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Highers in English and Maths or Computing Science

  • Can work independently, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
