Day to Day duties to include but not limited to:

  • Serve customers effectively and ensure accuracy with cash handling
  • Assist customers as and when required
  • Answering the telephone
  • Replenish stock as required; ensure stock is handled with care
  • Checking in stock
  • Loading / unloading customers orders
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Cleaning tasks as assigned
  • Contribute to the team effort
  • Liaising with all store personnel and customers to ensure the
  • Above tasks are completed effectively
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Good telephone skills
  • Excellent time keeping

Personal qualities

  • Confident with customers and on the telephone
  • A keen, enthusiastic and well-presented individual
  • Honest and reliable

Desired qualifications

GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications in English and maths

Future prospects

There is an opportunity to grow within the role and business depending on your ability and preferences within the work place.

A permanent role at the end of the apprenticeship will be offered if the candidate shows interest and the skills required.

Things to consider

The nature of the business means you will be required to lift tiles and accessories on a day to day basis, you will need to be able to cope with the physical demands of the role
