As a Mechanical Engineer (CNC Operator) you would carry out the following duties whilst in training and under supervision.

  • Programme set up and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) turning and milling machinery
  • Fitting and assemble of components
  • Learn how to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Use a range of engineering and measuring equipment
  • Using and coordinate measuring machinery

Future prospects

Permanent positions could be available for the right candidates.
