Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Treat our residents with respect and dignity, given a choice, privacy and allowed to be as independent as their emotional and physical condition will permit
  • To attend mandatory training arranged as part of staff development
  • To take part in staff and other meetings as necessary.
  • Attend supervisions and appraisal as requested by your Line Manager
  • Contribute to the continuing development of the home through professional self development and the promotion of evidence based practice
  • Be conversant with the homes policies and procedures and the regulatory framework with which the home is required to comply. To ensure that the home operates in accordance with these, and to carry out all duties in accordance with the homes policies and procedures.

  • Avoid gossip and work as a team
  • Maintain good staff relationships within the Home and with all visitors to the Home.

Desired qualifications

GCSEs at grade A/9 - C/4 in English and Maths or equivalent

Can move in to full time employment upon satisfactory completion of apprenticeship, this can include roles such as:

  • Care Assistant
  • Activities staff

  • Senior Care Assistant
  • Senior coordinator or lead
  • Nurse Associate
  • Registered Nurse
  • Deputy Manager
  • Home Manager
  • Area Manager

Things to consider

Must be flexible with working hours including weekends We would consider applications from candidates wishing to complete a level 3 apprenticeship.

We are a 40 bed Care Home. We provide excellent Care and Wellbeing for our residents. We provide daily activities for our residents as well as lounges for them as well as tailoring for any catering needs they require. Making the residents stay as happy as possible.
