What will I be doing as an Account Manager for Monitoring Services?
- You will proactively manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts across intruder/fire and CCTV
- Grow new business market share, primarily within the fire and security installer market
- You will act as the key interface between SMC and the customer, coordinating a virtual team of other stakeholders within the business
- Negotiate multi-year contract re-signs with existing customers
- Prior sales experience and proven achievement levels in account management, ideally from the CCTV Monitoring industry, or a related field.
- The ability to build business cases for change - delivering a high value sales approach
- IT aptitude including the ability to craft proposal documents using Word and PowerPoint - and to be confident delivering these back to customers
- Ideal (but not essential) to have fire & security industry experience with knowledge of the installer marketplace
- Current UK driving licence
