The Vacancy

We are currently looking for a qualified or part qualified Accountant to join our Risk Services team within Robus as a Client Accounts Manager. This is a full time position based in Guernsey.

Job Overview

To provide accounting support and oversight to a portfolio of existing and newly won clients and to support the take-on of new business. This is a varied role and would suit a candidate who likes to learn new things and actively contribute in team decisions and direction.

Job Role

At Robus we provide administrative and insurance management support to licensed insurance vehicles. This client accounting role will have two elements:

Predominantly the role will be to provide accounts review and oversight to a number of existing clients and recent wins within a portfolio. Presentation of accounts to clients via email and with the opportuinity to present in board meetings, if comfortable to do so. Preparation of regulatory returns and solvency monitoring. Preparation of financial statements including all relevant disclosures and management of the audit process. Contribution to company secretarial tasks and preparation of documentation demonstrating compliance with local laws and regulations, all with appropriate training.

The second element will be to support feasibility studies and on-boarding of recent wins. We have relaunched our Insurance linked securities (ILS) product line and continue to offer longevity, life and general (re)insurance solutions to clients. Recruiting two new directors in 2020, we have been able to position ourselves for growth and we are looking for a team player who wants to come along for the journey.

The role will offer exposure to a wealth of transferable skills in company management and administration. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential to collaborate with a range of professionals to deliver results.

What information do we collect?

We and other Ardonagh Group companies on our behalf will collect information about you.
